White Pine Camp, Paul Smith’s, NY 12970
Classic Adirondack Lodging at an Historic Great Camp
April 27 – May 1st, 2019
Open to current or past students of Katherine’s only.
Welcome to this very special advanced protocols Sound Healing Practitioner Certification Training! We’ll be clocking 15 hours of training required for certification by the Singing Bowl & Sound Institute of New York. No better way to do this than in a peaceful, natural environment!
You can expect this to not be an over scheduled retreat. That said, we will have daily structured time mostly in the mornings and ample unstructured free time in the afternoon and evenings for you to explore the camp and trails, and to do whatever you imagine would be ideal for you as a retreat – sleep, meditate, journal, draw, create, play!
White Pine Camp is an historic camp. It has a rich and wonderful history. Accommodations are comfortable and clean, but lean toward rustic. In the next section, I’ll be giving you suggestions on what to bring to make your stay as satisfying as possible.
The tuition for this course includes all coursework, materials and fees, and shared lodging. If you require private lodging review the information below under Accommodations.
Kathy will bring bowls, accessories and materials for you to practice on. Bowls are available for purchase at the end of the training, if so desired, at discounted student pricing.
We will be in the middle of the woods. It’s a great opportunity to unplug and take a break from electronics. There is patchy cell service for Verizon network, but the WiFi connection is weak in general. You will be disappointed if you try to stream your favorite TV shows or movies on your free time – count on lots of buffering.
The weather in April is mixed – it can be snowy or stormy. The temperature range is typically low 20’s to high 50’s.

If you require private accommodations or would like to share with a partner/friend (thus splitting the cost) this can be arranged. Email Kathy directly to arrange your private lodging. Kathy will expedite your reservation. She is an expert on the camp and can answer any questions or concerns you may have. See Private Lodging Options below.
Meals for the duration of the retreat are self catered. You can have meals delivered to the camp from Freshly.com or shop in Saranac Lake. Recommended is Nori’s for delicious, healthy food. They make a nightly dinner there. Also Paul Smith’s College has a nearby cafeteria and cafe with a 3 course meal for $15.
Stay includes passes to the gym, pool, library at Paul Smith’s College and all the same info as last time.
Further details about getting to the camp and more will follow once you’ve made your deposit.
