Candlelight Restorative Yoga & Tibetan Singing Bowl Workshop

We invite you to journey inward and unwind your body and mind in this therapeutic restorative yoga practice accompanied by the healing vibrations of ancient Tibetan singing bowls.

The partnership of the gentle asanas, (postures) and the vibrations from the Tibetan singing bowls help to dissolve blockages, move energy and naturally improve your capacity for self healing.

Restorative yoga helps the body to drop into the parasympathetic nervous system and restore balance by surrendering to the moment, where your body’s natural intelligence to heal itself lives.

During this session you may experience the Tibetan singing bowls being placed on and around the body infused with warm water, essentials oils and the loving intention to bring about deep inner peace, balance and harmony at the cellular level.

This class is suitable for all levels!

Cost: $40 Prepay $45 Day of RSVP Needed!

Soul Camp East 2018

August 24, 2018

August 24th-26th, 2017

Katherine returns to Soul Camp to sharing the powerful and transformative healing of singing bowls.

Soul Camp’s east coast camp will take place at Camp Echo Lake in Warrensburg, NY, approximately 3 York City. The property is nestled in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains close to Lake George. It’s a stunning nostalgic setting to experience what our east coast camp provides: massive fun and a deeply connected community.

Campers can explore, learn about & experience singing bowls in a variety of different ways including singing bowl meditations as well as hands-on interplay & interaction with the bowls. Campers are invited and encouraged to create their own conversation with a collection of singing bowls ranging from the 16th century to the present day.

Partnered with Harpo’s Soul Pancake and Huffington Post’s GPS For The Soul, SOUL CAMP is a weekend mind/body/spirit & heart immersion. From morning reveille to lights out, “campers” (aged 21+) will be participating in a range of activities spanning from yoga, meditation, singing bowl meditations, qoya, astrology & angel card readings, bootcamps, breathwork, healing with horses, arts & crafts, S-factor and more. We will also be featuring a speaker series where campers can escape and listen to inspiring and empowering “SOUL-versations” from wellness experts and thought leaders in their field.

A healthy menu (with vegan & gluten-free options) created by Healthy Cooking Camp will be available at every meal. Evening activities will include a fear burning bonfire, a concert by the lake, a late night disco, color war, talent show and more.

About your Body:
In yoga, the hips are thought to be the baggage center for negative emotions. By releasing this area we may help to relieve lower back pain as well as free other tension filled areas of the body and mind- this may be intense for some people.
The psoas muscle, also referred to as your “fight or flight muscle” is responsible for stabilizing the body. This muscle, deep in the center of the body, attaches the lower lumbar vertebrae to the pelvis and legs -structurally connecting the upper and lower body. This is where most people unconsciously hold stress.

About the Workshop:
This workshop will start with a series of vigorous yoga postures aimed at warming up the psoas muscle. All levels of yoga practice are welcomed and modifications will be given if needed.

The second part of the practice, you will be lead on a journey of shaking out and releasing trapped energies from deep within these primal places while being bathed in the warm healing tones of the Tibetan Singing Bowls lead by Kathy Hamer.

All throughout the practice and during shavasana,(rest) the singing bowls will be placed on the body or at the head with the intention to heal, align, and gently move stuck energy out creating space within for deeper healing. The bowls will be filled with warm water infused with the magical, high vibration essential oil blend made especially for this workshop
